Set in Providencia, 42 km from Manuel Antonio, Savegre Hotel Natural Reserve & Spa features a restaurant and free WiFi throughout the property. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. This was a family trip. The rooms were cozy and well equipped. Extra blankets and heating is provided. The rooms are comfortable and surrounded by nature. It creates a great experience and you have the river sound. If you are not used to that sound it is really relaxing. The hotel has a green house where you can buy and see plants. They are lovely. The trails are very nice. Be mindful that to reach the entrance you need to walk 1.5 Km. La Quebrada is a trail that you can walk with small children. No wheel chair nor prawn/stroller. Los Pioneros is a short and flat trail. Suitable for elderly persons. We traveled with one and was the perfect walk. The food was delicious. The breakfast is a buffet with plenty of options and very tasty.

Trogon Lodge ligger 1,5 km fra centrum af San Gerardo de Dota og 9 km fra nationalparken Los Quetzales. Der er stor have, terrasse og grilludstyr. We loved our 2 night stay at the Trogon lodge. The location was absolutely stunning. The lodge is nestled into the cloud forest, next to a small river that provides a constant background sound that is very soothing. The gardens are spectacular and it was a great pleasure to wander around, look at the flowers, watch the hummingbirds hover or sit in one of the many chairs with a book. Even though it rained a lot it did not dampen our spirits. The room was a good size comfortable and very cozy. It does get cold here at night and we had to use the space heater a few times. The bed was absolutely the most comfortable hotel bed I slept in and as a bonus they brought a hot water bottle in the evening which was a very nice touch. The breakfast and dinner at the restaurant were great and the staff was wonderful - friendly and attentive and put up with our broken Spanish. The property has self-guided hiking trails to explore that are well maintained and offers guided bird-watching tours at an additional cost. We took two and the guides were very knowledgeable and showed us wonderful birds and other small wildlife. We loved how relaxing and peaceful the entire experience was. We can highly recommend this place and still think about our stay often. (We did see the quetzal and it was absolutely stunning)

This is a lovely, cosy, home-like place with a beautiful big terrace to relax on and a backyard that is visited by wildlife including parrots, squirrels and iguanas. Laurie and Miriam really took care of me, including being invited to join for a wonderful Christmas lunch with friends. The rooms are very comfortable, impeccably clean and the breakfast is generous and delicious. I highly recommend this welcoming, friendly BnB.

We had a delayed flight and they waited for us to arrive which was late. Very welcoming and great service. The breakfast was outstanding and the view for this was so peaceful and beautiful.

This place is awesome! It is a boutique hotel with great service, clean beds, nice decor. The included breakfast is UNREAL! And we also had dinner there which was great. This is defiantly an alternative experience from a hotel, it is more of a house feel and very cozy with all the cleanliness and upscale expectations from a nice hotel.

Hotel Cultura Plaza ligger i San José, 250 m fra Costa Ricas nationalteater, og har udflugtsskranke og gratis wi-fi overalt. Samtlige værelser har fladskærms-tv med satellitkanaler og eget... Personalet var virkelig søde. Jorge var virkelig sød og hjalp os med at bestille en taxa om natten. Værelset var rent og lokationen dejlig central. Rigtig god valuta for pengene!
