This hotel in Las Galeras, owned by David, is undoubtedly one of the finest I've had the pleasure of visiting. Its unique charm offers a cozy and intimate ambiance that is hard to find elsewhere. David himself is incredibly welcoming and personable, making our stay even more memorable. I've already made promises to return with friends to share the experience. The private beach, stunning terrace, and breathtaking infinity pool are just a few highlights that make this place truly special. A heartfelt thank you to David for creating such a soulful retreat.

Located on the beachfront in Las Galeras, Hotel Villa Serena offers lush gardens and an outdoor pool. It is an amazing hotel, staff is very friendly, the yoga class in the morning is excellent, the massage also, the bar at the pool is also super, the garden and the location is very good. Breakfast is outstanding.

Breakfast was one of the best I’ve been served with an extremely generous time span of 7:30-11:30 so we didn’t need to worry about missing it if you wanted to sleep in. The apartment was huge and had everything you need with an amazing pool area literally steps from your room and the beach a few steps further. We were worried to hear loud music from cars and scooters on the balcony and in the living room but the bedrooms were so soundproof we had amazing sleeps. The staff is the best. They can arrange pickup and tours and whatever you need. They even text me that a massage day was available and could be in the private gazebo by the pool or your room if you preferred. What a treat! I don’t understand any of the negative reviews because this place was beyond our expectations.

It was spotless and the pool lovely. Tons of hot water and a cool breeze so no need for ac. The building was quiet. Easy walk to town and to the beach. Supermarkets are 10 mins away and they deliver if you buy more than 5000 pesos. Great communication with Regis the owner.

Located on a private beach in the Dominican Republic, Playa Colibri features an outdoor pool, hot tub and beach bar. Its spacious studios and apartments offer a patio and fully equipped kitchen. Hummingbirds have always been special to us and Hotel Playa Colibri lived up to it's name! The property was absolutely lovely. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained. The staff went above and beyond, working their collective magic to make sure we had a wonderful stay. We were touched and grateful for all the efforts of Yury, Aron, Pedro, Saul, Hemie(spelling) - the housekeeping and restaurant staff. WE look forward to returning in the future! Oh and we loved the Holiday decorations "magically" appearing on Dec.1st. Thank you!!!

The hotel atmosphere was nice. The hotel was inside fenced area with other buildings and houses, so you could consider it to be safe area also. The pool looked nice from the balcony of the room, but we did not visit it due to we went to beach and one of the beaches was about 30min walk from the hotel. The pool was shared with other buildings (I am not sure if they were hotels or not). The rooms were large and clean. 1 of our 3 rooms had a hammock in the balcony and every balcony had two chair and a table. 1 of our 3 rooms had a bath tube and others had normal shower which were good. The hotel had Casino in the same building which opened in the night, but I did not visit it.
