Amazing location on the water about 15 mins walk to the temple complex. Very comfortable accommodation with large bedroom and bathroom. Wonderful sitting and breakfast area over the water watching the boats going to Sudan. Great breakfast but really the best part was the host and his family. English speaking they gave us some tips, some special tea for my unwell partner and drove us to an excellent Nubian restaurant. Fast wifi. A great stay.

They waited for us until 1am as we had late check-in. They gave us breakfast in small bags at 4am as we had a tour with an early pick-up. They called our guide to help with the pick-up of a tour. And they brought us to the other side of the river with their boat at 6am so that we don't have to cross the island with our luggage. These people are gold and will make sure that your stay there will be memorable!

Situated in Kornish Al Nile, Citymax Hotel Aswan features an outdoor swimming pool. The 4-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with a private bathroom and free WiFi. I like the staff. They are extremely professional and friendly at the same time. They remember me every time and i find my favourite room booked for me without even calling them. Excptional treatment from Mr. Wael and his colleagues. Very accommodating and you feel that you are surrwith friends and family members. The breakfast is tasty and chefs are serving staff are helpfull. House keeping team are doing great and silent so you will never notice there physical presence but you will see the effect.

Situated on Aswan’s highest hill, Hotel Basma offers unique views over the River Nile. It features a terraced garden and pool deck. The Nubian Museum is right across the property. Our reservation was promoted from a City-view room to a Nile-view room, and it was perfect to say the least. The food was amazing and the room was super clean. An absolutely stunning place.

Booking was for my parents celebrating their Ruby Anniversary. Very charming one-night stay in this local guest house. Facilities were clean, host was very hospitable. Location was spot on. Would recommend to anyone traveling to visit Abu Simbel.

I will forever be grateful and thankful for how the management and staff of this hotel treated my wife and her mother. My 8 month pregnant wife and her mother fled gun fire on a 25+ hour bus ride from Khartoum to aswan . They were held at the border for several hours . The hotel pushed our dates and checked them in late . They were very hospitable. I recommend this hotel for families, their attention to details for your needs is very professional.

We stayed here for three nights and loved it. The temples can be done in one day, but this hotel is so nice that we felt sad leaving. The staff is super friendly.
