Featuring a seasonal outdoor pool with a furnished terrace, Hotel Cuevas is located on a rustic building with modern décor and that is nestled in the picturesque village of Santillana del Mar. We were met by nice and friendly stuff. Check in was comfortable. We were provided by very useful information about the places of interest and nice choice of restaurants for the dinner. It was pleasure to stay in the room with small charming terrace.

Just 2 km from the beautiful coast of Cantabria, this hotel is a restored 18th-century palace. It has a peaceful natural setting, and offers a restaurant which serves typical local cuisine. The staff were very friendly and helpful, they were all excellent. We really enjoyed the room with the jacuzzi and little garden. The food for dinner and breakfast was also great. They were very supportive and helpful with some changes of circumstances our end, and did everything to make our stay fantastic.

This charming country-style hotel is set in a restored 17th-century house in central Santillana del Mar. Each room is individually decorated and includes a spa bath and free Wi-Fi. Fabulous! Everything about it. As beautiful as Santillana is, it's too touristy for me but we we're starting our next section of the CAMINO DEL NORTE from the town. The location is great, the building is beautiful, the room was fabulous AND as for the breakfast (Included) I wish I had 3 stomachs, there was SO MUCH wonderful choice, amd the price was incredible. In my own stupidity I left a pair of sandals at the hotel, I only realised when I arrived at Comillas. I rang the hotel and they offered to drive over to COMILLAS with them, which I couldn't let them do, and will collect them when I return to the area in May, awesome awesome people running a fabulous hotel!!
