Featuring a seasonal outdoor pool with a furnished terrace, Hotel Cuevas is located on a rustic building with modern décor and that is nestled in the picturesque village of Santillana del Mar. We were met by nice and friendly stuff. Check in was comfortable. We were provided by very useful information about the places of interest and nice choice of restaurants for the dinner. It was pleasure to stay in the room with small charming terrace.

This charming country-style hotel is set in a restored 17th-century house in central Santillana del Mar. Each room is individually decorated and includes a spa bath and free Wi-Fi. Very reasonable for the quality and good service. Hax a pretty room, comfortable bed and lots of space. I looked at the 4-star hotel in town and it had the same decor/finishes. I liked the location, just 1/4 block away from the main tourist area, which is busy at night. Breakfast was good! In the plaza where this is, there's a town park, laundromat, groceries, farmacia and se eral restaurants.

The property is furnished to a very high standard with a very modern kitchen and high end appliances. The WiFi was very good and views over the garden to the rear was nice and peaceful. The location is great for the beaches and the town with a free funicular that drops you down into the centre. Parking easy and couldn’t fault anything. Marta the owner was very helpful and provided a vast amount of information and recommendations. 😎

Our host was exceptionally welcoming and friendly. Despite this being a last minute booking he laid on a delicious evening meal for us made with fresh produce from his farm. Our room was cosy and full of character. We were welcomed with a delicious breakfast the next morning. This is a very special place steeped in history and well worth a visit. We will definitely be back if we are passing again as it is a place that we will never forget. Thank you
