Hiking trails and cross-country skiing tracks are found right outside the door. This was our second time in Linnunlahti and definitely not the last. Very well decorated cottages, squeaky clean with everything one could wish for (even a MokkaMaker coffee machine 😀). Right next to the skiing tracks and a lake with a lovely beach. This property is on a family farm, 12 km outside Savonlinna and 10 minutes’ walk from Lake Pellosjärvi. It offers a private beach, a lakeside sauna and a summer restaurant.

The B&B is located in a beautiful farm, a neat and very well kept complex of many buildings, gardens, farm facilities, etc., all set in a peaceful lakeside environment. The main building is elegant, welcoming, and so are the owners. The room was a bit small for 3 people, but OK for a short stay. Breakfast was great! It seems in the middle of nowhere, but it takes just 15 drive to downtown. Price is fair. I would stay there again, 100%!!!
