The hotel is by a beautiful river, close to the Siida Museum, and near trails. It has comfortable common areas with close views of the river. The in room sauna was a delight. And the room was spacious. The staff was friendly and helpful. Stores and cafes were just a short walk away.

Our hosts were super welcoming and helpful , and always there when needed. I will certainly came back in spring.

Everything is almost new. The owner couple, extremely nice and friendly, go above and beyond to make your stay a complete pleasure and you feel almost like a private guest. Situated in Kakslautannen, ca. 10 km south of Saariselkä, it is beautifully nestled within a fairy tale forest with pristine snow everywhere. The igloos are far enough apart to create a very individual feeling for each house. The main house is beautiful and serves both as reception area, lounge and restaurant. Because they have only a limited number of houses it is never overcrowded and creates a very personal feeling, unlike many similar hotels in the area that are rather factory-like. Food is excellent, somewhat limited choices, especially when your stay is longer than the usual 2-3 days. Service personnel excels in everything, very warm and friendly and efficient. We also booked a tour where we happened to be the only guests which was wonderful. Nina gave us a big farewell hug - that alone says it all. Thank you for a wonderful week!
