We had one of the new rooms which is beautifully furnished and has a very big bathroom with both shower and tub. Everything is new and clean and the bed is super comfortable. We would come back.

The location was great, right along the seafront in Oban. The place was spotless and in excellent condition. But what set it apart for us was the staff and the overall service. Carrie was informative and friendly throughout our stay. From the warm welcome, to helpful information during our stay, through to the friendly goodbye to us and our dog on departure, she and the rest of the staff made the visit one we hope to repeat. Breakfast, too, was well executed and made for a nice start to each day.

I can not recommend it enough, the hosts are exceptional and the bedrooms and living room are a delight. I have never felt so at home and welcome as I did at Gowanlea.

The whole package offered at the Gramarvin B & B was excellent, from first arriving to unfortunately having to leave. The breakfast was great. The view from our bedroom window was amazing and the room was immaculate. I can’t wait to book up and visit Oban again.

Situated in Oban, in a building dating from 19th century, Glenburnie House provides a garden and guestrooms with free WiFi. I felt so welcomed and the room had wonderful little touches to make my stay more comfortable. I have stayed in Oban many times and can confidently say that this is one of the best places around.
