Situated in Grasmere, 12 km from Windermere, Victorian House features parking is limited and offered on a first come and first served basis. The rooms come with a flat-screen TV. The breakfast was so nice with lots of selection.

The family-run Ambleside Townhouse is situated in Ambleside, 800 metres from Lake Windermere. It offers en suite rooms and a full English breakfast in the morning. Location, our room was comfortable, shower wonderful. Great breakfast and staff friendly. We’ve been here before and will return again

Dating from around 1659, the String of Horses is a traditional coaching inn is set in the country village of Faugh, 8 miles from Carlisle and junction 43 of the M6 motorway. Warm and welcoming. We had a tasty dinner and breakfast was excellent. The room was modern and comfortable but the history was still evident throughout the building.

A 5-minute drive from Bassenthwaite Lake, Ravenstone Manor is an 19th-century manor house set in 3 hectares of ground. The property is at the foot of Skiddaw, overlooking Bassenthwaite Lake. Really cosy, amazing food and excellent staff, we loved it !

Jerichos is a contemporary family-run guest house with stylish decor situated on a quiet side street in the heart of Windermere village. There is free Wi-Fi and free ample private parking. This is a lovely place to spend 1 or several nights. House is immaculately kept and owners are on site and very accommodating. We very much appreciated the effort they put in to a positive guest experience.
