Enjoying our breakfast in the winter garden was a particular pleasure. The hotel also has ample parking, which is very helpful for those traveling by car.

The room was wonderfully comfortable with a great view of the cable cars; the owner, David, was generous, hospitable, and went out of his way to invite us to an event he happened to be hosting during our stay; we felt absolutely blessed to try his delicious Imeretian wines (by far the best we’ve had in Georgia so far) and be among his guests; the food was delicious and included regional dishes (such as a slightly pickled flower from a local tree) that were not on any other menus we encountered. As he told us, “guests are kings in Georgia” and we certainly felt like that.

Even after we checked out, she allowed us to use the shower and an available room, which was a huge relief before our journey. Her kindness made our experience even better.
