The hotel is located in a beautiful and quite location, only 5 minutes’ walk from the harbour and the cosmopolitan life of Hydra. Our reception staff will be happy to offer information on local attractions and things to do. Property can arrange hiking tours with certified hiking guides at the surrounding area. The old decor fits the location so well. The garden is also beautiful. It was a joy to have breakfast there every morning (and befriend the cats). The location is perfect - very close to the port, yet in a quiet area. We managed to drag our luggage there ourselves - it was easier downhill when we left:).

Very comfortable room. Great friendly and very helpful reception and service. Great breakfast. I also liked that it was a little bit away from the busy port so it was so quiet. We had a lovely balcony with sun chairs and a little table and chairs outside.

Boasting magnificent views overlooking Hydra, the recently renovated Hotel Hydra is a turn-of-the-century building set in the heart of the island of Hydra. The nearest swimming area is a 5-minute walk away. We fell in love with the island and this charming boutique hotel. The view from the bed in the Junior Suite was insanely beautiful. The staff, especially the hostesses, was very friendly and helpful (extra grateful for the recommendations and care of Dafni). The breakfast was fine! The mattresses are hard, we liked it, but it comes to preference.
