The staff were exceptional and our dinner at the bar was memorable and delicious. I thought this property would not feel so much like a castle, but I was wrong. And even though it rained throughout our stay, we walked the grounds and enjoyed the manicured property, a hint of lavender along the pathway, and a moment of peace watching the dolphins swim in the river (Yes. Dolphins. I thought they were teasing us, but it was true). I wish we had booked a longer stay.

In the heart Waterford City, with wonderful views of the River Suir, the hotel offers free Wi-Fi and parking, 2 restaurants, a riverside bar and 20m deck level swimming pool. The location is fantastic, absolutely spotless hotel , my room was fantastic. It was big and had a large private balcony with a gorgeous view of the river and all of the city , the hand soap /shampoo had such a nice smell, the bed was very comfortable and the pillows you had a choice of a soft one or a firm one , lots of tea and coffee and more milk then usually given, 3 toilet papers given . Despite being in a busy location it felt very quiet , plenty of plug sockets and even usb ports
