We liked the outdoor patio in the sunshine and a cosy wood fire in the evening.

The famous monastery of Glendalough is just 15 minutes’ drive away. Our stay @ Stirabout Lane was such a lovely experience. Daphne, Mary and the team looked after us very well.

It offers free parking, free Wi-Fi, a guest lounge with board games and a 42-inch flat-screen TV with Sky channels. Hosts were lovely, very welcoming in the evening and full of smiles in the morning. Great breakfast selection in my opinion. Room was comfortable and spacious. Overall lovely stay. Coffee/tea making facilities in shared space were a lovely novelty for me. We would happily stay again of in the area

This beautiful country-house hotel on the edge of Enniskerry features spacious rooms and seasonal cuisine, 5 minutes’ walk from Powerscourt House and Gardens. Dublin can be reached in a 30-minute drive. Lovely clean and updated hotel, quiet with friendly staff. Food was excellent.

All of the elegant, stylish rooms have contemporary en suite facilities, along with a TV and WiFi internet access. There are also luxurious suites with a private balcony, kitchenette and living room. All rooms are non-smoking. We loved everything about this place. The staff were amazing, the setting was beautiful, and it was the perfect base while Sonny played in the Junior Irish Open. It was relaxing, comfortable, and exactly what we needed.

The inn keepers, staff, the local patrons and the food, and the unexpected pop up music jam session, far exceeded our expectations. Truly amazing, authentic introduction to the lovely kind people of Ireland. Wished we stayed longer.
