Everything was perfect and the extra touches were lovely really welcoming. The food was outstanding , absolutely delicious and all the staff were so helpful and friendly.

With a history dating back to 1180, Kilkea Castle provides accommodation set on 180 acres of woodland, gardens and a golf course. Fantastic 12th century castle in the outskirts of Kildare and Athy. There is a restaurant, club house, golf course and lodges on the grounds as well. Welcoming staff, lovely food and facilities.

Mary and Raymond were the kindest people we've met so far during our Ireland trip. Check-in went smoothly, the room was clean with comfortable heated beds. Bathroom had towels, shampoo and shower gel and overall very pleasent experience. We had an irish breakfast with tea and coffee, which was delicious. If I ever visited Ireland again, I would definitelly stay at the Moate Lodge. Raymond also gave us a lot of tips and info about interesting locations near there. We recommend the Lodge 10/10!

Mary was a very welcoming host, with a lovely breakfast every morning. Superb value for money. Beautiful location, my bedroom was overlooking a field of cows. Easy to find also.

The Clanard Court Hotel is situated in Athy, Kildare, just a 10-minute walk from Athy Train Station. It offers spacious rooms with free internet access, a brasserie and free parking. One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed. Staff were so lovely, helping us whenever we needed. Room was very comfortable and clean. Strongly recommend.

Just a 15-minute drive from Dublin’s centre, The Springfield Hotel is situated in the centre of Leixlip. It offers free parking, and a modern restaurant serving hearty cuisine. I rarely write reviews but this was one of the nicest stays ever! And I stayed in a good few hotels, including the 5-star Raddison in Dublin. While the location is not very central, there is a bus to the city centre right outside the hotel. What I loved the most - ALL the staff were extremely helpful and accommodating, and just genuinely nice. The room was quiet and very comfortable, the bed was huge xD The food was good, I had dinner in the hotel - Mediterranean salad, it was delicious. Lots of water available which is important to me. Cleanliness was good, and the hotel itself looks beautiful from the outside. Very chill vibes overall. I was impressed, for the price and a 3-star hotel, everything was above expectations. Cleaner, quieter and nicer looking than some 4-5 star hotels in Dublin.

A haven of peace and tranquillity in County Kildare, just 30 minutes from Dublin’s vibrant city centre, this luxurious hotel and spa stands within acres of beautifully landscaped, private grounds. The Hotel was incredibly spacious and spotless throughout. Our bedroom was delightful, with soft, high-quality bed linens and a bed that was wonderfully comfortable. The staff at the Hotel were outstanding, always warm, welcoming, and ready to assist. The large swimming pool was a great feature, offering a perfect place to unwind and go for a nice swim. Breakfast was also a highlight, with a wide range of delicious options to choose from, ensuring there was something for everyone. I highly recommend staying here and hope to return sometime in the future.
