Surrounded by magnificent parkland and nestled on the shores of Lough Ennell, Bloomfield House Hotel, Leisure Club & Spa form a perfect country escape. Excellent hotel the grounds and views fantastic the staff amazing. The rooms are great beds comfy amenities are everything you need The food is excellent and service is great. I'm in the trade and I couldn't fault one thing. Cost wise I was very surprised it's not as expensive as most four star hotels of lower quality. Really can't recommend the Bloomfield high enough it's fantastic in every way

In Athlone's lively centre, this 4-star Sheraton Hotel has a 20-metre pool, a luxury spa, free internet and free parking. My stay at Sheraton was amazing. The hotel is a 5-minute walk from the train station, which is a great catch. After booking, the hotel reservation team sent me a link to its website, which has fabulous ideas of activities you can explore while in Athlone. There was constant communication from the team ahead of my arrival. It was my birthday and they made it so special, the personnel at the reception wished me a Happy Birthday as I walked in, and on walking to into my room I was welcomed with a plate of cake, chocolate and a birthday card from the hotel management. Everything about my stay was perfect. The pool, spa, breakfast, and dinner were indeed amazing. The staff are so courteous, they were always ready to help and were beaming with smiles always. I highly recommend and would definitely return when next I visit Athlone. The oldest pub in Ireland, "Sean's bar," is a 10 mins walk away, too 😊

Overlooking 10 acres of town park, Annebrook House Hotel is located in the heart of Mullingar and offers complimentary private parking for guests. The hotel had excellent size rooms, was very clean,had old world charm and the staff were friendly, approachable and nothing was a bother to them - very quick to find solutions to any problems!! I’d also like to mention that the staff in Berty’s Bar were also excellent and it was a pleasure to go there for dinner and/or drinks!!
