They will welcome you with open arms even when you arrive close to midnight, and will help you at even turn. It was sad to leave, as it felt like we were leaving new friends behind. Offering tree houses, heritage suites and pool villas, Pepper Trail is set in a 200-acre coffee and spice plantation. Amazing accommodation, located in the middle of huge spice, coffee and tea plantations, managed by the owners. Stayed in the Mackenzie suite, really cool suite, breathing colonial history. Really amazing place, nice food, very polite and approachable staff. The infinity pool is has the best view I’ve ever had from a pool. Of course not cheap, but worth every penny.

Located just 1.5 km from the Chellanam Fishing Harbour, Kondai Lip Backwater Heritage resort is located in Alleppey. A slice of luxury for a fraction of the price. The serenity and peace of this place was wonderful with views of the lake and the trees. We had a great massage here as well and the food was exceptional. Perfect service, beautiful surroundings and a special end to our trip.

Located barely 200 metres away from Chinese Fishing nets and Fort Cochin Bus Station, Eight Bastion features a seasonal outdoor pool, garden and a business centre. We had a wonderful stay at this excellent property. The staff were exceptionally friendly and polite, with special thanks to Mr. Akhil. The complimentary tuk-tuk ride was a delightful and fun experience.
