We were greeted with hot tea and very professional staff members upon check-in. Our room had a fantastic view over the surrounding hills, including the Kanchenjunga. We had water and tea-making amenities in the room. The hotel is quite cold during winter, so wear your jacket in the common areas, but the room was well-heated with a radiator and felt very cozy. It was spacious, with an upper deck where the bed and the bathroom were and a lower deck close to the windows with a social area to enjoy the view. The food in the restaurant was terrific, and so was the service. Altogether, we had an unforgettable experience and will likely come back, despite Darjeeling being several days of travel time from our home.

We had a beautiful, clean and comfortable room with a lake view. Wonderful bathroom with good shower. The staff were unbelievable in every way. So incredibly kind and helpful. The food was first class and they have a lovely rooftop restaurant. The location is great with lots to see nearby. Thoroughly recommended!

The rooms are very beautiful and comfortable. The location was also good, far from traffic noise and with amazing views. What truly made our stay an exceptional experience was the staff. Ashish and Team are so welcoming and put so much passion into their work. We really enjoyed all the activities, from the morning walk to the evening barbeque by the bonfire. Thanks also to Rupak and Satyam for the great musical entertainment and kitchen staff for the amazing food. We will be back and very much hope that they keep the standard this high!
