The hotel offers an outdoor swimming pool with hydromassage, and a traditional architecture, in the exteriors and rooms. The most beautiful villa hotel in Capri. The rooms had amazing high ceilings, beautiful built in armoires and everything was cared for so carefully by the family. The breakfast, the pool, working with the bag porters for the ferry boats… we even got lucky enough to have them help us obtain a reservation at Da Paolino. I was lucky enough to find them on booking.com but i would 100% recommend this hotel to others. And although it was peaceful and relaxing it is very family friendly. 😉

Towels for the swimming pool are also available. Beautiful property, we were upgraded to a larger room which over looked the pool and had an amazing sea view. The room was lovely and very comfortable with plenty of room. The staff were great and very attentive.

WiFi is free throughout. The breakfast was fantastic, with a lot of choices. We had a surprised at check in as we received a room upgrade to junior suite.

The Canasta Hotel is a modern establishment which has recently been renovated. All of its guest rooms are tastefully furnished and contain modern amenities. Amazing location, beautiful and very clean room!Cleaners both in the morning and in the evening. The pool area very nice. The staff was very nice and helpful. A great experience overall!

A varied buffet breakfast is served daily from 07:30 to 10:30, including pastries, fruit juices and cheeses. The restaurant features a terrace with sea view and drinks are available from the stylish wine bar. My husband and I stayed one night at La Floridiana in Capri and it was absolute PARADISE. From the moment we walked in the door until we left, we were treated like royalty. We were there in April for just 1 night, but wish we could have stayed longer. Andrea greeted us when we arrived and we were welcomed with complimentary Aperol spritz’s and sandwiches on the balcony overlooking the pool and ocean. She sat down with us and gave us a detailed overview of the island and lots of great recommendations - so helpful and kind. She took us up to our room (standard garden view), but because it was low season, the hotel offered us a free upgrade with a balcony and sea view. It was such a nice treat after a couple busy days in Sorrento. Still pretty cold to use the pool, and the staff were working all around us to prepare for high season, but the amenities are beautiful and we would have loved to enjoy them in warmer weather. The room itself was big and bright with a beautiful balcony and a good working air conditioner. The Hotel Floridiana is just far enough away from the busy centre of Capri that it’s a nice escape from the tourists and crowds. We took a taxi up from the port (30 euro) because the line for the funicular was crazy long at the time we arrived. The hotel recommend we use luggage porters from the square to get to the hotel, but it wasn’t necessary (maybe in high season). The walk from the centre to the hotel is dreamlike - passing by storefronts including Dior, Valentino, Yves Saint Laurent, Hermes, etc. Buffet breakfast included was a really nice touch. Lots of great options for a light Italian breakfast and EXCELLENT service. We seriously cannot say enough about the staff at La Floridiana. We loved it here and would definitely return in high season, April just wasn’t warm enough to enjoy the amenities. Thank you, Andrea!

Rooms are bright and air conditioned and feature a flat-screen TV plus a minibar. Each comes with unique floors while some boast a balcony or terrace overlooking the rooftops of Capri or the hotel’s garden. The lovely hotel is hidden in a sidestreet of one of the most central parts of capri city. From there you can go to all sides of the island in a blink of an eye, the bus stop to Anacapri is close by. And still the hotel itself feels like you can get away from the crowded tourism in the streets and sit for breakfast in the lovely garden of the hotel. Breakfast is very good by the way and typical for italy more on the sweet side, the pasterys they offer are capri specialtys and I was excited I could taste what I had seen in the windows of a bakery the day before! The rooms are small and being located inward the balkony on the groundfloor didnt have a view, I also didnt check if there was a hidden fridge somewhere. But we stayed for one night and wanted to go for walks in the lovely streets and for little hikes anyhow, the room was good for our needs, lovely designed in the typical blue and yellow colors, very confy matrace and quiet. The hotel staff let us have our suitcase longer there after check out when we ask. Beware, the white cat does exist :) it snuggled up in one of our towels when we let it on the balkony to dry, how iconic! Strongly recommanded: take a little hike clockwise to the the natural stone arch in the east of the island and return passing the famous viewpoint south east of the island back to capri city. It takes about 40 to 50 minutes and gives you one of the best views! Also that way you walk some stairs rather down than upwards. Thanks for the great stay!
