We stayed for two nights at the end of October 2024. The villa and its gardens are stunning, the rooms spacious and newly restructured with lots of hot water and fast wifi, the breakfast abundant and the staff charming and helpful. Stevenà, a “frazione“ (sub-municipality) of Caneva has several interesting other villas to see and is situated at the foot of the Prealps. You only have to walk for 30‘ on one of the many well-marked footpaths to enjoy views over the plain stretching down to Venice.

Hotel Ca' Brugnera is set in a peaceful area on the border of the regions of Veneto and Friuli. It features free WiFi and 2 outdoor swimming pools. Parking is free. Staff very helpful and spoke good English. Was able to use the underground garage without paying. Curtains blocked almost all of the light.

The Palace Hotel Moderno is an elegant establishment, set just outside the pedestrian area of Pordenone and within walking distance of the railway station. Couldn’t fault the hotel or staff, it was exactly as advertised and the location was perfect, we had a fantastic stay. The breakfast was good and the hotel provided one to take with us when catching an early train. The room was spotless and large and will recommend this hotel to friends and family.
