Standouts include the rooms themselves (very spacious), the beds were very comfortable, the location was quite good (walkable distance to the A-bomb dome), all for a great price. The amenities and the free laundry were a cherry on top.

Highly recommend making the most of this addition. Great location right next to the port to get ferries across to the islands. The hotel offers everything you need + pjs, snacks, tea, ice cream, and jackets for windy weather (all free).

Beds are comfy, and all the basic necessities in a hotel room are provided and more! Staff are friendly and helpful too. I had to check-in past midnight and I gave them a heads up, and the staff was there happily greeted and checked us in!

A 3-minute stroll from Itsukushima Shrine, Miyajima Grand Hotel Arimoto boasts an outdoor hot spring bath. It offers luxurious Japanese-style and Western rooms and a free shuttle from Miyajima Pier. The room was several rooms with a private onsen which was fabulous with a view of the Tori gate. Our meal was spectacular 12 courses in a private dining room with a view of the garden. The staff was so helpful and gracious ! Just wish we could have stayed longer. Also, great shuttle to and from this lovely inn!!! Highly recommend ! It was a splurge for us but so worth the memories!!

The bed was very comfortable, I loved the onsen in our room, and the self grinding coffee was excellent, beautifully decorated.
