Private Shuttle from the station, calm neighborhood, very helpful staff, clean, you have all you need. Topnotch cuisine. The in-room onsen is just awesome. And thai massage experience was very good.

The property couldn’t have been more spotless nor the staff politer or friendlier and the location was amazing - it was so close to the ferry port for ease of island hopping, and a stone’s throw to the main bus and train station.

Featuring an outdoor pool and natural hot spring baths on the top floor, Bay Resort Hotel Shodoshima is located in Shodoshima Island. All guestrooms offer great ocean views. What impressed me most was the assistance of the service staff I happened to meet a young girl from Taiwan who helped us with the language barrier and was very patient in helping us translate and solve the problem! There was also a young Japanese boy who helped us with the hot spring temperature and finally helped us carry our luggage to the shuttle bus. I was very impressed by his perfect service.

Massages and bicycles are available.... The Staff were excellent but in particular Yukari. She was so very helpful she researched where I could by a Sim Card for my phone & a an acupuncture aide I couldn’t find. She even arranged to have the second item sent to our future destination. She is an absolute credit to Royal Park Hotel Takamatsu. We also loved the availability of Club Room Access which included lovely breakfasts, afternoon tea and evening drinks and nibbles.
