Located in the centre of Kurokawa Onsen, Oyado Noshiyu offers outdoor and indoor hot-spring baths, Japanese-style accommodations and a traditional teahouse. What's not to like? From the moment we entered the parking we were treated like VIPs. We're not used to that! The room with its own onsen was really spacious and quiet. The property is beautifully landscaped. We didn't try the public indoor onsen, but the outside ones were lovely. Meals were beautiful and tasty and the servers were so kind. We also got an onsen pass and tried some other onsen in the town the following day - highly recommend but not needed with all the facilities here. It was a really nice treat to stay here.

Ryotei Matsuya Honkan Suizenji ligger i Kumamoto, 4 minutters gang fra Suizenji Park og 3,5 km fra Kumamoto-borgen. Her er en bar og gratis privat parkering samt gratis wi-fi. The hotel is right be the Suizenji park and the associated trails along the river. It's very peaceful and beautiful. Good for birdwatching. It's also right near the tram into the center of the city right up to the castle stop (Y180 flat rate) which is really convenient and cheap. The hotel itself is really well appointed and has 2 private and 1 public onsen which was really nice.
