We're not used to that! The room with its own onsen was really spacious and quiet. The property is beautifully landscaped. We didn't try the public indoor onsen, but the outside ones were lovely. Meals were beautiful and tasty and the servers were so kind. We also got an onsen pass and tried some other onsen in the town the following day - highly recommend but not needed with all the facilities here. It was a really nice treat to stay here.

Most of their onsen are private rooms so it is very nice for small groups like us who appreciate getting our own space. One of the highlight would be the meals, loved everything they serve here, they also have selections of beers and other alcohol, try their local beers! They are also strategically located in the center of Kurokawa so it is easy to explore the town.

Hitoyoshi Train Station is an 11-minute walk from the property. The interior space is very welcoming. Breakfast and dinner were excellent (good value). The staff was extremely friendly and warm. The location is nearby downtown area and Hitoyoshi station.

It's very peaceful and beautiful. Good for birdwatching. It's also right near the tram into the center of the city right up to the castle stop (Y180 flat rate) which is really convenient and cheap. The hotel itself is really well appointed and has 2 private and 1 public onsen which was really nice.
