Very quiet and relaxing and far from the crowd of cities. We had a really great time relaxing within nature. The staff were very nice and helped us a lot because we had some issues with the train station. I would definitely recommend visiting for tranquility and relaxing.

We enjoyed the hot spring bath inside and outside plus the spa was so great it really pampered ourselves. The breakfast was extra delighted but I wish some fruits should be added up. Over all the hotel, the staff and their services were… THUMBS UP👍👍👍🥰

The rooms in the ryokan are equipped with a flat-screen TV. All units will provide guests with a fridge. To start off, if you arrive at Toba Train Station between 1430-1800, they provide free shuttle service to the hotel, which otherwise would be a 20 minute walk. Look for their name beside their car. The staff were friendly to a fault and even if they can't keep up with English, they'd do anything to help you. The place is old, that's what you get for looking for an onsen ryokan but it's well maintained and the cuisine offered was faultless.

Offering an outdoor pool and a restaurant, Todaya is located in Toba. The property is a 3-minute walk from JR Toba station and is a convenient location from where to tour Ise-Shima. Free WiFi access is available. The breakfast was delicious. The food tasted very fresh. We especially appreciated that many of the food stations had attendants preparing the dishes. It got very busy at one point, but we never had an issue getting our food. The shuttle to and from Toba Station was very convenient. We contacted the staff from a payphone at Toba Station. We were able to communicate our needs through our very limited knowledge of the Japanese language. The driver took our luggage and said they would store it till we checked in. This allowed us to continue on with our sightseeing plans without physically going to the hotel first. That really helped maximize our time in Toba! Wonderful Service!

Free pick-up shuttles are offered between the station and the hotel. There is a beach right in front of the property, and free in-room WiFi is available. We had a very spacious room with a beautiful ocean view. We especially enjoyed the complimentary beverage service. The staff was very helpful. Food was very good, but did not offer much in variety if staying multiple days. It's a little out of the way, but there is shuttle service available to Toba Station if you wish to venture off and do some sightseeing. Just be sure to leave and return between the shuttle service hours.

Sadly, the pool was not available although I was planning to swim there. The view from bed room was amazing.
