Super friendly staff. Authentic Japanese breakfast included. We don’t eat meat and they made sure there were plenty of fish and vegetable dishes every morning.

Guests can also relax in the garden or in the shared lounge area. We had an AMAZING stay at Iki Retreat. Everything was seamless - the hotel driver picked us from the lunch place directly (we went for lunch first when we arrived at Ashibe port - you can arrange everything through email before arrival), and throughout our stay, Katano helped us with everything as he was able to speak some English. Staff are impeccable and attentive, room with a magnificent view, private onsen on our private terrace, everything you need for a relaxing and rejuvenating retreat was provided - drinks in the room, use of private bath and gym (gymwear also provided if needed) were provided with no extra charge. We opted to have breakfast and dinner included and the food was just out of this world. Delicious delicacies - iki beef, squid, teppanyaki, sashimi, sushi, condiments etc.....the chef will prepare everything in front of you. You do have to pay for the alcohol with dinner... Our jetfoil got cancelled and Katano and the staff helped to find alternatives for us as well. I could go on and on with only everything positive to say....

Set within 3 km of Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Museum and 3.6 km of Peace Park, Dormy Inn Premium Nagasaki Ekimae offers rooms in Nagasaki. With a restaurant, the 4-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. Private parking is available on site. We were able to leave our luggage overnight during our 1-night visit to the Goto Islands. Both rooms we stayed in, one on 8th (near elevator) and the other on 3rd (far from elevator), were quiet. We couldn't even hear toilets flushing in adjoining rooms. Room design was excellent for 2 people, better and slightly bigger than similar rooms in other hotels we have stayed in in Japan. Cleaner than similar Japanese hotels we have stayed at. All toiletries provided; also pajamas. Fresh towels, bottled water, drip coffee packets provided daily through simple notification next to door. Though we didn't use them, the presence of clothes washers on the 11th floor was a comfort. Washers and soap apparently free while dryers had a fee. LOCATION is convenient to train station and just one short block from Airport bus stop. Interesting feature in elevator: an emergency kit in case one is trapped, including a toilet, water, and flashlight.
