The hotel is just 5 mins walk to the hells of beppu attraction. The buffet (dinner and breakfast) were fantastic. Love the beef steak and the buffet spread. Services by the restaurant crew was fantastic too! The rooms were spacious and the layout was well thought out. The best experience was this particular counter staff. I forgot to note down his name but I really would like to compliment his good service! He was so helpful in giving us the direction to the bus stop and bus time schedule. He personally walked us out of the hotel premise to show us where the location of bus stop. He is what I called service beyond expectation!!

We stayed at a room with open-air bath type A, room no. 305. We loved this room so much! We will definitely go back to stay here again. All the staffs were so helpful and so kind. Their service was perfect. The foods were so delicious and I mean every single thing on each plate! Even their still-water was so delicious!! I do not think there is any ryokan in Japan as perfect as this place. I recommend this place with all my heart.

Kannawaen is an entirely non-smoking accommodation that features a garden, terrace and bar in Beppu. 100 metres from Hells of Beppu, the property is also 500 metres away from Jigokumushikobo Kannawa. Lovely location. In room onsen was so awesome to have. Views from the balcony were exceptional, mountains, the city and the sea. The food was absolutely gourmet level and was a highlight for us. The staff were warm, friendly and helpful.

Yufuin Bettei Itsuki features a hot spring bath, free Wi-Fi and luxurious contemporary rooms with a balcony, a private hot spring bath and a Japanese-style seating area. The staff was very kind and welcoming. We had a room with a private onsen and it was worth it. The rooms are very spacious and have a luxurious feel. The included dinner and breakfast are great, we had one of the best dinners during our vacation here.
