Staff are absolutely wonderful, this is one of the best places I have stayed. Ofcourse the view from the balcony in the room is amazing, with space to sit and relax. The public onsen and private rooftop onsen are wonderful watching the sunset with a view to Fuji. Don’t miss out on breakfast! Pick up from the train station and shuttle to town also worked really smoothly, just ask the helpful staff as we were able to arrive early to drop our bags off. The hotel lounge area is also very interesting and enjoyable, lots of art, books, relaxing and comfortable. Will always remember our stay here and recommend. Thankyou!

What a spectacular room with such an incredible view. We really enjoyed the balcony and just watching Mt Fuji. Also, the bar and bar tender were brilliant - really made us feel at home. The food was also excellent.

A large room, beautifully designed. The place is clean and stunning, both inside and outside. A short walking distance from the train station, as well as restaurants and a supermarket. There are many bicycle rental spots, which makes it easy to get around the lake.

Boasting a view of Mt. Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi, Maruei feature warmly decorated Japanese-style rooms and is located a 15-minute bus ride from Kawaguchiko Train Station. It was a great experience. The staff was so amazing and welcoming. Our room was huge with a private onsen (a must) with the gorgeous lake view. The food was amazing- fresh and delicious. I would recommend this place and would stay again.
