Mr Kushala and his wife really care about their guests – their homestay is incredibly clean, in a big beautiful house on a hill 5mins outside te busy traffic of Kandy's main streets. There are all kinds of fruit trees in the yard and you'll see monkeys and squirrels in the trees, and if you're lucky be lulled to sleep by the gentle chattering of the fruit bats. My room was spotless and had a lovely balcony that looked out into the trees, so peaceful and a great spot for a calming tea. The breakfasts were outstanding, so huge and delicious and different every day, as were the dinners I ordered. You really become part of the family. And Mr kushala is very willing to give you lifts to or from the station, or do a tour to where you want to go around or outside of town. Love seeing how much passion they have for Kandy and Sri Lanka!

The hotel is situated in an amazing and quiet location a bit outside of busy Kandy. It has a lovely well groomed garden and a big swimming pool. The room was very comfortable (mini fridge), clean and large (was upgraded ) offering amazing views from both terraces for sunrise and sunset - absolutely stunning and very relaxing to do yoga or other . The breakfast and dinner was very good offering a variety of Sri Lankan and Western dishes. Many thanks to the very kind and attentive staff for making my stay so wonderful !!! Highly recommended and will definitely come again.

Magical property, I did not want to leave. I stayed more, than was planned. This is the villa totally local style, everything in villa is customised. Small design detailes even. Old atlas of Sri Lanka, books about Budda. I came at 4 am, 2 persons were waiting for me, serving tea! In holy hight! Rooms are magical, nothing is from wholesale market. Cleaning is every 10 minutes. Pool is clean, mango trees on the territory. Chef is perfect, cooking meal speacially for you! Prices are low !!! Even on gas station food can be more expensive. Customised soap with fragrance of spices!!! Shaving kits, tooth brushes, all provided. PIANO MUSIC playing in the villa. I can not recomend this place more!!!!! Opposite villa there is big hotel, but its not even in comparison with villa Clove - in Clove you are happy to come back !!!! Thank you, dear people of Villa clove!

We ordered the lunch at the resort and they arranged the food at the table on the deck. it was fabulous. The person named Manjula, if i remember. He was quite enthusiastic and he took us around the resort until the lunch was getting ready. He explained about all the places. We felt very homely around him. The lunch was served so well. They provided us some veggies to taste which is the traditionnel foods of their region. The food was amazing. Hands off to the chef, we had an awesome culinary experience. The place was very safe and they carried all our luggages to the tuk tuk. And all the staffs were there to help us out until we checked out.

Absolutely beautiful room, very new, the most comfortable bed we’ve had in Sri Lanka The location is perfect for visiting the historical sites and extremely beautiful and peaceful surroundings The staff and food were excellent, we stayed an extra night as we loved it . There are only three rooms so we felt very well cared for, nothing was too much trouble and they arranged a scooter for us and transport to our next stop. Highly recommended

The location was perfect for exploring nearby attractions like Sigiriya and Minneriya National Park. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a unique and tranquil stay in nature. Can’t wait to return!

The staff were super friendly at all times. We really loved the food, breakfast has a big variety of dishes and it was delicious! The bungalow is amazing too, a comfortable and beautiful place in the middle of nature with a private pool - we enjoyed a lot! I highly recommend!
