Such a beautiful house, the pictures don’t do it justice it’s even nicer in real life. Staff is amazingly friendly and helpful. Helped us organise excursions in the Jaffna area. Breakfast is great and we also had dinner in the hotel a couple of nights which we also really enjoyed. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else if we ever go back to Jaffna

I loved my stay at the Thinnai (and Jaffna overall, it’s a shame that people skip this place). There was a small miscommunication about take away breakfast, but they sincerely apologised and made up for it with a surprise from the kitchen. Breakfast is also very nice and I definitely recommend the Odiyal Kool which tasted amazing!

Staff exceptional and so helpful. Special mention to Praveen who helped secure 2 rooms for both driver n guide. So close to railway station too. Clean spacious bright rooms and great buffet spread. Will recommend to future friends who want to travel to Jaffna.

Nice surroundings with a very nice garden! The hotel itself is charming and we had one of the heritage rooms. The others are in the garden and looked nice from outside. The staff was helpful and sweet. Would stay again if coming to Jaffna!

This is a good 3STAR hotel right next to the main Train Station of the historic city of Jaffna. Fairly good rooms for the price you pay. House keeping staff are good, hence the rooms are tidy and well appointed. Service is the strength of this place. A very special thanks to the very efficient stafd at the reception. Ms.Thadsajini and Ms.Ragasini are superb professionals, helpful and always with beautiful smile. They are a strength to this hotle. All staff at breakfast are very efficient and helpful.

Tilko City Hotel Jaffna is located in Jaffna and offers an outdoor pool. Free WiFi access is available. Each room here will provide you with a TV, air conditioning and a seating area. Very central hotel. Lovely swimming pool. Bed was comfortable and the room big and cool, though somewhat tired in the decor. The new shower was the best so far in Sri Lanka - proper pressure and warm to boot!! The breakfasts were lovely - buffet style, hot and tasty. There was a lot of shouting going on in the kitchen which made for a very funny Fawlty Towers breakfast - everytime the waitress came out she was as cool as a cucumber, but when she went back, merry hell would break out!!!!!
