Wellé Wadiya meaning 'Beach Hut' is a tropical boutique hotel offering a swimming pool and set on the best kitesurfing beach of the Kalpitiya Kitesurfing zone. More satisfying room with the charges.. rooms were very clean and provided with a water bottle, 2 nos towels and mini soaps. with an amazing view. Delicious food and friendly host.

We were pleasantly surprised! This has been our best stay in Sri Lanka thus far. We hesitated at first due to the lack of reviews, but honestly, it's a diamond in the rough. Tucked into an idyllic natural setting (but keeping the many accommodations around it our of sight), the style reminds me of high-scale scandi / northern European architecture and everything is made with such good taste and kept so clean that it is hard to believe that you're coming from a dirt road. We stayed in the double bedroom upstairs, which features a beautiful wooden bedhead, great AC and ceiling fan, and the shower - the best one I've seen in my life. It's massive, open to the sky, sleek design and you can even see the view of the field ahead. Me and my boyfriend are working remotely and need speedy and stable wifi; this place has 2 routers (1:2 router-to-room ratio!) and the one upstairs worked flawlessly, even through videocalls on two laptops. Rushan, the owner, made everything easy for us - booked us a safari in Wilpattu park, prepared us breakfast to go, and booked us the driver upon check-out. A true master!

This is the second time I’ve stayed at NILAWIN. There are many new things added. Brand new swimming pool with 100% natural environment (surrounding) which I have seen only in luxury resorts in Barli. Food is really good specially authentic Sri Lankan. Staff is very friendly and flexible. Compared to room rates in Sri Lanka NILAWIN is the only place where I can recommend as value for money( because hotels in Sri Lanka are much expensive) NILAWIN is the only place where you can enjoy your stay in chilaw area with such a calm and relaxing environment.

I selected this resort randomly from Booking.com for a weekend stay with my family. Once we entered the resort, I realized that it was an excellent choice. Mr. Bandara and the crew were extremely helpful and friendly. My 5-year-old daughter enjoyed a lot at the premises. Walking though the lagoon and beach were wonderful experience. Nice pool area. Room is cozy. Highly recommend for someone looking for calm and relaxed stay in a tropical paradise.

The hospitality of the staff was exceptional especially the gentleman who served us food and provided room service. The place is very tranquil since the property only accommodates very less number of guests compared to the space at the property. Was able to get the same amount of peace and quite as youd get at a Maldivian resort at a very minimal cost.
