I had the pleasure of staying at Sands Grand Hotel with my wife, and I must say, it was an experience beyond expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and a level of hospitality that made us feel instantly welcomed. The hotel's location is perfect. The decor is tastefully done. Every detail, from the unique lobby is thoughtfully designed to provide an inviting atmosphere. Our room was a sanctuary of comfort. The bed was incredibly comfortable, with soft linens that made it hard to get up in the morning. The room was unique and impeccably clean. Dining at the hotel's restaurant was a culinary delight. The menu offered a wide variety of dishes, all prepared with the freshest ingredients. Each meal was a feast for the senses, and the service was impeccable. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and went out of their way to accommodate any request. The hotel also offers a range of activities and excursions, ensuring there's never a dull moment. What truly sets Sands Grand Hotel apart is their exceptional service. Every member of the staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was nothing short of perfect. Their attention to detail, kindness, and professionalism truly made our stay memorable. Sands Grand Hotel is more than just a place to stay. It was an experience. The staff were very friendly, location was an around 10 minute walk to the beach, you can also cycle (bikes always available). Close to shops and restaurants. I requested for them to decorate the room for my friends birthday and they did without hesitation! Thank so much Musa and the other staff for making our holiday so special. We would definitely be back!

Amazing , friendly and polite staff at your service all time . Maria and Rayyan from the reception are great and willing to assist with your needs. The restaurant Chief Mr Wasana ( I hope the name is right) prepares the most delicious food I’ve ever eaten in a resort. His hands are Gold !! ( luckily we were few guests and were offered a La carte menu instead of buffet) Stayed in water villa , the room is cozy , we had complete view of sunset.. magical. Beauty in each corner of Drift Retreat resort , must try the bar for a drink with stunning views . Budget friendly compared to many resorts in Maldives and honestly should be rated 5 stars including service .

Every detail, from the luxurious bedding to the state-of-the-art amenities, made me feel relaxed. The activities were a dream come true! I spent my days snorkeling in the calm blue waters. The Maldives is a haven for underwater exploration, and I was able to see marine life that I had only seen in documentaries. The private beach dinners under the stars and the decadent spa treatments completed the perfect balance of adventure and relaxation. What really stood out was the warmth and hospitality of the Maldivian people. From the welcoming smiles of the staff to the personalized service, I felt like I was treated like family throughout my entire stay. Whether it was the exquisite food or the seamless planning of excursions, everything exceeded my expectations. Leaving the Kuramathi was bittersweet—I was rejuvenated, but I didn’t want the magic to end. If you’re looking for an unforgettable escape to paradise, then Kuramathi is the place to go. We stayed at Aria Beach for our last week of a wedding anniversary holiday. When we arrived and told Sam, our host, that it was a wedding anniversary trip he upgraded us to the duplex apartment at no extra charge. Sam is a fabulous host and has done a great job of ensuring that the rooms are comfortable and luxurious and very well equipped. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious and it's obvious that they pay much attention to detail. Sam was in the process of opening up the smoothie bar while we were there so we enjoyed many delicious fresh juices and smoothies. The hotel is right on the beach and has lovely deck chairs set up under the trees right at the ocean. The hotel has a number of lovely areas to chill from the seating in the dining area to the pool to a fabulous 'tree house' deck with bean bags. We highly recommend this accommodation!
