Situated along the shores of Hanimaadhoo, The Barefoot Eco Hotel offers tranquil and comfortable accommodation with free WiFi access throughout the property. I can't emphasize enough how professional the staff were - all of them. They took care of every little detail and made my vacation perfect. This is the kind of place you go if you want to disconnect and take a break... sure, they have plenty of activities, but in the end it's very remote and quiet, which is exactly what I was looking for. The beachfront room was wonderful... the beach itself is spectacular, the food was varied and plentiful and delicious (I already miss it). Special mention to Deepak and Rana (the cooks/food servers), and especially to Sozib who was the only staff member who took the time to learn my name, and to greet me with a genuine smile and a quick chat every single day.
