Featuring a library and free parking, it is located within Georgetown’s UNESCO district. They did a fantastic job of restoring the Blue Mansion. The entire property is gorgeous. Our room was clean and spacious with a comfortable King bed, and well appointed period furnishings. It felt so special to be in such a historic place and the staff were friendly and helpful. They served breakfast in the courtyard with made to order offerings (the pancake with salted coconut and burnt sugar sauce was excellent). We also loved listening to the guzheng performance in the courtyard during the evening. The only regret was we managed to only book one night(it was fully booked).

Futhermore, the staff proactively offered access to a sister property's swimming facilities - we regrettably didn't have time to take advantage, but appreciated the thoughtful gesture during the hottest month in Malaysia. This boutique hotel boasts a chic common area, a bright courtyard and a swimming pool. Free WiFi and free parking are provided. The hotel is small and cosy, and provides all the amenities i need. I loved the old colonial building vibe. The lounge with free flow of drinks and snacks was a bonus. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly.

The spacious rooms are all air conditioned and equipped with a flat-screen cable TV, a laptop safe and an iPod docking station. They also have a minibar, ironing facilities and modern bathroom facilities. This is my second time staying at the Campbell House. The rooms are beautiful. The bed is comfy. The staff is very kind and helpful. The location can’t be beat!

Famous food centre, Gurney Drive, is a 10-minute drive away. very nice authentic boutique hotel, in the very center of the Unesco heritage city, traditional and pleasant enough and just right modern, very clean, the reception staff were very helpful and very friendly, always full of advice about exploring the city. I highly recommend it.
