Futhermore, the staff proactively offered access to a sister property's swimming facilities - we regrettably didn't have time to take advantage, but appreciated the thoughtful gesture during the hottest month in Malaysia. The Edison George Town is set in a restored colonial mansion with contemporary decor. The stylish guest rooms are furnished with a sofa and guests enjoy complimentary turn down service. This boutique hotel boasts a chic common area, a bright courtyard and a swimming pool. Free WiFi and free parking are provided. The style of the outside of the Hotel was welcoming. On entering, it had a clean stylish interior. Very tastefully decorated and sympathetically decorated to the style of the colonial period. The whole place had a beautiful dreamy atmosphere about it. The Staff in every area of the hotel delivered Outstanding Customer Service. They were helpful and eager to help without being overbearing . The outside eating area remained me of being by the pool area, with three or four areas where you could draw the beautiful coordinating curtains for privacy. I did not use the swimming pool myself, but was told the temperature was just right. The breakfast offer was just right to set you up for the day because all around were great places for you to eat other things you might like.

Set in a restored private mansion, East Indies Mansion is located in the heart of UNESCO World Heritage Site of George Town. Inspired by Chinese shophouses, the property features a large courtyard and classic wall ornaments. Free WiFi is accessible throughout. Loved the location, close to beach street and little India. Lots of restaurants in walking distance. The room was very spacious with 4 double beds, more than enough for a family of 4. Even though its location, very central, the rooms are very quiet. I really love the friendliness of the staff. They gave lots of suggestions on where to go or where to eat. Loved the little local desserts every night brought to our room. Even though there are lots of plants around the mansion, there were no mosquitos. ( And I get bitten very easily). The check-in was also very fast. I would definitely return next time we visit George town.

Private but conveniently located. Clean and well-maintained. Staff were excellent: Friendly, personal and helpful.

One of the nicest boutique hotels I have stayed in anywhere. The attention to detail with everything is incredible. I’d definitely go back 👍

The spacious rooms are all air conditioned and equipped with a flat-screen cable TV, a laptop safe and an iPod docking station. They also have a minibar, ironing facilities and modern bathroom facilities. The stuff is lovely ,the place feel like back to home, the food so yuuuuuumy😋
