The room service was impeccable, always prompt and delivered with a smile. My room with the bathtub was a highlight—spacious, cozy, and beautifully lit, creating the perfect ambiance for relaxation. I got sick (not at the hotel) after I checked out but I had left my luggage at the hotel, so I went back and the staff was very perceptive of my quandary and helped a lot. The staff at the restaurant gave me bananas even though it was not ripe yet, because I had needed the bananas badly (to restore my potassium etc as advised by the doctor), without me having to leave the restaurant. Also Sonee at the reception helped me every step of the way to be well enough to resume travel by giving me headache medicine that I needed, she also gave me water and provided me with a place I can rest and charge my phone while waiting for my airport taxi ride that she had also kindly arranged for me at no extra charge and all these even though I was already checked out. I am so grateful to the kind staff at the hotel's reception and restaurant!

The location is right next to Patan Durbar Square, a World Heritage Site, so you can visit multiple times during your stay. The whole area is rich historically and culturally. I feel privileged to have had this special experience. Pahan Chhen was my home from home while I explored Kathmandu and Nepal.
