Whispering Sands Beachfront Motel is situated on Waikanae Beach, just a 10-minute walk from Gisborne city centre. Gisborne is a fabulous city and Whispering Sands does it’s part, the amenities were great. Close to everything.

White Heron Motor Lodge is just 2 minutes' drive from the centre of Gisborne and 7 minutes' drive from the beach and the airport. Management was super helpful in providing suggestions for restaurants, shopping, etc.

Ocean Beach Motel offers comfortable accommodation in Wainui Beach, just 5 minutes’ drive from the Gisborne city centre. Our host, Caro, was super nice and gave us a great room and restaurant recommendations. Room was large and comfy. The terrace at the back of the room was a nice surprise.

BKs Palm Court Motor Lodge is a 5-minute drive from Gisborne Beach and Gisborne’s town centre. It offers barbecue facilities, free on-site parking and free Wi-Fi access. Staff were friendly and allowed us parking with a trailer in their large parking area. Clean and quiet room. Restaurant next door looks good but didn't try. Definitely reccomend BKs to anyone staying in Gisborne.

Captain Cook Motor Lodge offers modern ground-floor studios and apartments with free Wi-Fi access. Free on-site parking is available. All rooms offer a TV with over 50 cable channels. Modern Bathroom and very clean, great shower, comfortable bed, good kitchen facility plus outdoor seating area (Unit Number 4) Free use of washing machine and tumble dryer. Unit 4 was at the back of the motel away from the road and was very quiet.

Waikanae Beach TOP 10 Holiday Park is located in the heart of Gisborne and features a refurbished outdoor pool. It offers a range of accommodation options with free on-site parking. Motel close to the beach and town. Bed comfortable, warm room, great staff

Guests at Senator Motor Inn enjoy free Wi-Fi and lovely harbour views from their private balcony. The property is a 2-minute walk from various bars, cafes and restaurants. The view was stunning, location perfect and super friendly staff.

Offering free unlimited WiFi, Motel Oasis is just 5 minutes’ drive from the famous Wainui Surf Beach and the city of Gisborne. The spa was lovely after a hard day of work, surrounded by the palm trees was very nice. Slept well on the bed.

Just 90 metres from Turanganui River and overlooking the inner harbour marina, Pacific Harbour Motor Inn offers air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi and satellite TV. Spacious, comfortable and clean. It had all that I needed.
