Ideally situated for exploring Abel Tasman National Park, Mohua Motels is 300 metres from Takaka's Town Centre. It is located opposite a supermarket and next door the Golden Bay Visitor Centre. Exceptionally well run motel. The lovely owner/operators just couldn’t do enough for us! The room was spacious and comfortable, and very well appointed. One of the cleanest places we have ever stayed.

Ideally located for exploring Abel Tasman National Park, Pohara Beach Holiday Park is 10 minutes' drive from Takaka and Golden Bay. It is 30 minutes' drive from Collingwood. The park was right on the beach. The bathrooms were exceptionally clean. There is a coffee shop and restuarant right accross from park.

Local shops, cafes and restaurants are all within a 5-minute walk. We were on a 1000 km cycle adventure. Amber was brilliant and very easy to communicate with. Motel well positioned, clean, functional and would highly recommend to others.

Excellent location, very helpful friendly staff, exceptional food, beautiful surroundings and hiking opportunities.

The Station House is ideally situated just a few minutes’ walk from the Beach, Courthouse Café, Collingwood Tavern and Museums, and around the corner to iconic Mussel Inn and Langford Store. Collingwood is a quiet location and the perfect place to stay to explore all of Golden Bays Natural Attractions. It’s a short drive to Farewell Spit, Cape Farewell, Wharariki Beach, Te Waikoropupū Springs, and the hosts can assist with arranging tours to Farewell Spit, which depart opposite the Motel. The hosts recommend a minimum three night stay as there is so much to see and do. Great location and welcoming owners. We were on motorbikes in the rain and they gave us extra towels. Great pub down the road. Spacious room and lovely atmosphere.
