We really liked the location. We felt close to everything, but it was quiet and peaceful. Bathroom was a good size; shower was great. Kitchenette was adequate and well appointed.

Antonio Mews Motel is a 30-minute drive from New Plymouth Airport and a 25-minute drive from Tawhiti Museum. You can go skiing at Mount Taranaki, a 30-minute drive away. There are a number of restaurants and cafes within 10 minutes’ walk. We stayed at this motel just for a night travelling through. I wish we could have stayed for longer! the room was so clean and comfortable and spacious. And while it is on a fairly busy road there was no noise once you were in the room. The only noise was the train that ran along the back of the property but this was a bonus for us and was loved by our kids. definitely recommend :-)
