Situated in Al Raka in the Al Sharqiyah region, Sand House features accommodation with free private parking, as well as access to a hot tub. Featuring an outdoor swimming pool, the 4-star guest house has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Sand House. The location was great, super easy to get to with a sedan, and it's right at the end of the dunes, so it was a nice walk to see the sunset. The rooftop was a lovely place to just take in the views and enjoy the sunrise. The house had all the amenities/facilities you need. We didn't cook, but the kitchen had everything you'd need to cook/have a meal. The pool! We enjoyed night swimming/taking a dip in the pool, which was nice and refreshing amidst the desert heat. Special thanks to Camarol, who was fantastic from pre-check in until check out. The entire house was absolutely spotless, he patiently answered all our questions, and made us the most delicious breakfast. Wish we stayed longer, but definitely pinning this location for the future!

The location was beautiful and the camels roaming the grounds were a bonus. Definitely stay in the Deluxe or higher tents as the view of sunrise is beautiful.

Of course the location speaks itself, but the 1000 nights camp makes the adventure even more beautiful. Very respectful of the desert, and traditions. The rooms/tents are spacious and clean. The bathroom has no roof and taking the shower under the stars at night is a priceless experience. The restaurant has an international menu and medio oriental menu. Good quality Kids friendly because of the pool and a playground area. The staff is very very qualified and kind! Especially hershwa!

Everything was just wonderful: very friendly and professional staff, delicious food, good location, comfortable tents, well organised and interesting activities (sunset dune bashing, sunrise camel riding ...etc.).Sunrise Desert Local Private Camp is a highly recommended option to enjoy some quality time at the Wahiba Sands.

An amazingly well-run stylish and elegant camp, with attentive staff, beautiful bedrooms and great outdoor seating/dining in a stunning location. Not cheap but worth the expense. Lots of activities offered. Good buffet. Particular thanks to Shanavas, on the reception desk - super-efficient, kind and very cheerful.

Great location; no need to drive for too long to get to the resort. Dinner was abundant and tasty. The hotel offers various activities ranging from quad and camel riding to sunrise and sunset watching in the desert. They also have a lovely spa. The room was clean and modern + staff were attentive and helpful. They offer a pickup service at a reasonable price for guests without a 4x4. You can park your car at a nearby gas station.
