Though we prefer the more spacious, deluxe rooms, even the standard, value oriented room was fine for us. The A/C definitely helps in the summer time, especially in the attic. We loved the facility overall. The whole site is well kept. The swimming pool and spa is a very nice bonus for the price. The sauna only operates in the afternoon, though. Breakfast was included and we were well fed. :) We even used the restaurant a couple of times and no matter what we picked from the a la cart menu, everything was excellent. Unless you have a very, very good reason to stay directly in Banska Stiavnica, stay here instead. You'll thank me afterwards. :)

The location is perfect, approx. 6 min feom city center (the main street) It was really clean, nice and modern. Staff was also nice, we'll-communicating. The beds were amazingly comfy. And the bathroom was pretty big too.

Nice and warm flat. Very easy check in. Big parking space underground. Lovely scenery. Reasonable price. Very well equipped kitchen. Plenty of coffee capsules and tea. Large amount of toys for kids.

Galicia Nueva Castle Hotel is situated in Halič and offers luxurious accommodation with a wellness centre, free parking and free WiFi. Pets can be accommodated only in some rooms upon a prior request.... The room was so spacious and clean well it was like apartment huge room, living room big bathroom. Swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna area was amazing. Had a back massage, was so good never had that good massage before. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast plenty choice, chia+mango pudding was like heaven. Strongly recommend to visit.

Surrounding by greenery and offering a free usage of an indoor pool and spa area, Hotel Grand Vígľaš, set in a fully restored 13th century castle, is located a 15-minute drive from Zvolen. Breakfast was excellent. The restoration work is unbelievable. The entire facility was very well done and a pleasure to stay at. We had a delicious dinner and a beautiful, quiet, comfortable room.

Located just a couple of steps from a ski slope, SALAMANDRA Hotel features a Wellness area with a swimming pool and an on-site restaurant and bar. We liked how friendly the staff was and customer oriented, the Hotel offered a great wellness area, as well as recreational activities in and just around the sorrounding areas. Free parking places were a big plus. The rooms were nicely bright and very clean. Excellent stay!
