Floating atop the scenic River Kwai, this unique Thai folk-style resort is surrounded by tropical forests and mountains of Saiyoke. Sitting out on our own personal jetty every day was extremely relaxing. Jumping in the river from the jetty and riding the current to the end of the hotel is one of the greatest hotel activities. The staff were excellent and the food was very reasonably priced.

The stay was absolutely perfect. Surrounded by lush greenery, it offered the ideal escape from the city and the noise of daily life, allowing us to reconnect with nature. We enjoyed a peaceful 15-minute walk to Meena Cafe, spotting cows along the way, which my daughters loved. Everything about the experience was wonderful, from the tranquil environment to the exceptionally friendly staff. Just a heads-up, bring cash, as the area doesn’t accept credit cards.

The staff asked if we wanted extra portions. Additional dishes available on the buffet during breakfasts. Free activities are available on site, such as a walk around the area, swimming in the river and feeding Wendy - the elephant, as well as an additional paid massage, kayaking, boat trip, etc. A very good place to relax from the hustle and bustle. There is no electricity, except for a place to top up phones, and that's an additional charm of this place. If you want to pack or find something in your luggage, do it during the day because there is little light after dark.
