Sitting out on our own personal jetty every day was extremely relaxing. Jumping in the river from the jetty and riding the current to the end of the hotel is one of the greatest hotel activities. The staff were excellent and the food was very reasonably priced.

Very nice and peacfull hotel. Hotel located beside the river. Staffs were so polite and ready to help at any time you need help. The room was very big, bigger than many places I have seen. Decerations were beautifull, threes, garden and pool were all well take cared.

The staff asked if we wanted extra portions. Additional dishes available on the buffet during breakfasts. Free activities are available on site, such as a walk around the area, swimming in the river and feeding Wendy - the elephant, as well as an additional paid massage, kayaking, boat trip, etc. A very good place to relax from the hustle and bustle. There is no electricity, except for a place to top up phones, and that's an additional charm of this place. If you want to pack or find something in your luggage, do it during the day because there is little light after dark.

River Kwai Resotel is a villa-style resort nestled on the banks of the Kwai Noi River in Kanchanaburi. It features air-conditioned rooms with an outdoor pool and a restaurant. The staff were very helpful with the days out that we wanted. The river boat taxi is a really fun experience. The room was beautiful. Reception staff were very kind.
