Amazing guesthouse in Rustenburg. Most definitely exceeded all my expectations. The place is welcoming, exceptionally clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was good and a great way to start the day. I will definitely stay over here again when in Rustenburg.

Located within the Madikwe Game Reserve, Last Word Madikwe features a lush garden, terrace and outdoor pool. The malaria free reserve boasts the Big 5, a variety of wildlife and birds. Well maintained, quiet, and peaceful. There’s also lots of old charm. The staff, without exception, was great. The Last Word is especially excellent for viewing the animals because of a wildlife “hide” adjacent to a pond just past the perimeter of the property. The pond is an essential source of water for so many of the animals, especially given the lack of rainfall recently. There was a continual parade of wildlife, not just at dusk and dawn, but during broad daylight. The pond is also easily visible while eating any of the meals, which we all had outside.
