Glamping Sites in Calarcá

We had wonderful experience in the Glamping. This business is owned by a Columbian family, very authentic and warm hearted. The housekeeping is impeccable clean and the service team all over super helpful whenever they can. Especially John was always asking if we needed something. Even if we didn’t speak Spanish the Google translator made our communication with the staff easy to communicate. We were lucky to see some wild animals like the Capybara by the river and a couple of the Armadillos at night. Close by you have a wonderful family owned coffee farm - Recucca which you can visit by mountain bike within 20min easy ride uphill and 10mins back downhill. They offer horse back riding and it’s definitely worth trying it out because the surroundings are breathtaking. The whirlpool is a super plus and the coffee in this area will be hard to find in this quality outside the coffee triangle this is what we have experienced now after writing this review and having travelled for another week. The mattress of the beds are the best we have ever had in a hotel all over the world. As a little suggestion we would have liked a mosquito net around it even there are not many mosquitoes but a few hit us at night. One suggestion we would like to give. The food selection is quite small and there is really not much option in the area. We stayed for 5 nights and for this amount of time they need to improve a bit even if they would start offering simple Colombian traditional dishes like Rice, beans and eggs or something like Quesadillas which are easy to be made. The Raclette is a nice idea and probably works for meat eaters. For me as a vegetarian it was not really a good option to have since the vegetables can’t be really seasoned on a Raclette. Still, we would highly recommended this place and would return here if we would come back in this area especially having seen a bit more of Colombia already and we are super happy that we started of our journey in the Quindio area.

The views are amazing, facilities were also excellent and the room service. They very were flexible with the time to provide dinner and breakfast.

Location outside of Salento hustle, great breakfast. Bus to Salento passes every 15 min

The property was very peacefull and a great place to relax and unwind. The room and bathroom were clean and nicely done.

Very friendly hosts, good breakfast, comfortable pid with a good ahower and huge bed. Last but not least, what a view !!

The Glamping is ideally situated in one of the best locations between Salento and Valle Cocora surrounded by a very peaceful scenery of mountains, and lush green nature. One enters the property through an Avocado plantation and arrives in a nature lover’s paradise. From the grounds starts a very beautiful uphill hiking trail to two nearby waterfalls. We were accompanied by a friendly dog Sol, who loyally guided and protected us on various occasions. The staff is very welcoming, friendly, and willing to please. They bring breakfast in the room, if requested and started a bonfire one night. Our kids loved it. The owners are very passionate about hosting the best stay possible in a sustainable way with great care foir staff, guests and the beautiful bounty of nature by which it is surrounded. The accommodations are a marvel of Colombia craftsmanship and of original design: they are comfortable, spacious, and well laid out. Our tent/ “room” featured a panoramic view of the mountains and a half transparant roof enabling looking at millions of stars while in bed! The food was of excellent quality, featuring all fresh organic ingredients and prepared with love. On a very rare occasion of a power interruption one night, the kitchen kept preparing and serving food by candlelight, which made for an unforgettable experience and tasted even better. We enjoyed our stay tremendously and were able to detach from the hustle and bustle of daily life. We wish we had stayed longer and we highly recommend this Glamping, which is certainly one the best in the region.
