Rafael was an excellent host. The cabana on his property is entirely built from recycled materials and has a lot of character. He was extremely attentive, responsive, and friendly, and we joined his family for some Christmas celebrations down the hill. The food was delicious and we really enjoyed watching birds while eating breakfast on the balcony each morning (Andean Motmots, Tropical Screech Owls, and countless species of tanagers). Easy access to Otun Quimbaya. Others have noted that there was no hot water, but the shower works fine, it just requires a little finesse.

Amazing place to relax and be in the nature. The glamping tent was perfect and spacious, the bed was super comfy, the bathroom was just outside the tent and looked amazing! The staff was super friendly and always willing to help. When we arrived we got a welcome drink. The breakfast was very good (choice of 5 dishes) and was brought to our tent every morning. The restaurant was open for dinner every evening and the food was just fantastic. Its a short Willy ride from the centre of Filandia or a max. 30-min walk. We loved it here! We will miss Rocky the dog!

The hospitality at Cantaros was above all our expectations. Rare beauty, excellent food, and a calm and perfect atmosphere. On the last day of our stay we didn't feel well at all and the hosts took care of every little detail for us, including driving, calling and talking to everyone needed.
