Clean. Nice common areas. Friendly and helpful staff. Amazing surfschool. Easy to interact with other travellers. 100% recommend staying here and taking surf lessons as well. I even stayed longer than planned because I felt so comfortable here.

The location on the beach, the rooms, the facilities, the parking, the yoga classes, teachers and space, the guitare available for all, the staff, the surf boards rentals right on the beach entrance, the beach is beautiful, greats waves, the sunsets ! Monkeys right above the hostel. Great chill atmosphere with all the guests.

Staff was accommodating and friendly! Location was perfect! included breakfast was good, views of the ocean, rooms were decent.. could use updating. Yoga was amazing, spa right there. Walking distance to all restaurants and shopping. Beautiful amenities( spa, pool, restaurant, sittting , hammocks, yoga) .

The tent and the facilities were very well made. Everything was comfortable and working, tent was very nicely decorated.. It was clear that the comfort of the guests was the priority for Wilma and Franco. They were both so welcoming. Mosquito repellents and nets were provided. Everything was very clean. Only cold water shower but it is so hot there that you would not really want warm water anyway. Howler monkeys in the trees on the property and parrots flying above the trees. There was a resident iguana sleeping under my tent and greeting me in the morning, but it was just a little shy so I kept the distance. Also a coati was roaming near the tents. Very peaceful area to just be one with the nature, only sounds you hear are the monkeys and birds. There is a little hike to the beach. And many activities to choose from in nearby areas in this part of the Nicoya peninsula.

We stayed at the jungle tent for one night as we had arranged to do the Bioluminescence tour with Franco. The location is just perfect, it’s at the end of a long track and is surrounded by forest. The jungle tent was a really good size and it was a short walk to the showers and toilets. The wildlife around the tent was great, we saw a variety of birds, frogs, crabs and howler monkeys. We did the Bioluminescence tour in the evening which was excellent and a really good social with Franco, his assistant and another couple. Afterwards we returned and Franco and Wilma lit a fire for us and joined us for a drink. The reception we received was very warm and Franco and Wilma are lovely people and can’t do enough to help. In the morning we walked to the beach, the dogs joined us and showed us the way. This took around 20 minutes. The beach is wonderful, it’s large and empty. We saw red Macaw there. The visit felt very authentic and a bit of the touristy track which we enjoyed. I highly recommend it.
