The place had a modern construction and design. The common area featured a large kitchen with ample fridge space for storing groceries and drinks. There was a sofa with a chessboard, a pool table that I loved, and a restaurant that served delicious chicken tacos and cocktails. I particularly enjoyed the Tuesday night atmosphere, although it could get pretty crowded and result in a long lineup for drinks. The deluxe dorms had comfortable beds, were quite spacious, and I appreciated the fact that they had 2 bathrooms to share. I met some wonderful people here and it's only a short 300m walk to see the beautiful sunset by the beach.

The grounds were beautiful! You are in a tropical jungle with monkeys and beautiful birds. The resort is oceanfront and the beach is beautiful. The accommodations are small houses that are spacious, clean, and have a beautiful outdoor porch with a hammock and Adirondack chairs with a comfy couch. The grounds are clean, serene and you are surrounded by so much natural beauty. Staff is friendly, warm and welcoming.

We are beginning- intermediate surfers and stayed at El Gato Rojas as a family with two grown kids. It was the perfect place for us and gave the kids some car-free independence. We able to enjoy the beach, sleep in, cook food in the communal kitchens, take the bus to the waterfalls and play at surfing. The grocery store and ATM are very close, making the logistics of cooking very easy. I loved meeting people from all over the world. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We will be back!

The spectacular ocean view, the super relaxing atmosphere. The brutally great sunsets! The room was great with it's own private infinity pool. The nature surrounding Laloon is lush and awesome! The staff was great from the start until the end. Getting your breakfast served in your room every morning is fantastic! The place is so peaceful and quiet! Definitely we will return! Is only a few minutes away from all of the great restaurants and bars in the area, and the beach! Despite the terrible roads Laloon is definitely worth staying!

Staying at surf camp was such a lovely experience! I appreciated the gorgeous views waking up in the open air Rancho, the gym and pool area were so well kept, and the people and vibes were immaculate! I was hoping to find a quiet spot in the heart of the South West peninsula and surf camp was it!
