United KingdomSharm el Naga is a gem in the Soma Bay area. The location is fantastic, away from busy Hurghada, but close enough for an easy taxi ride from the airport. The snorkeling was absolutely amazing. Just off the Sharm El Naga beach, you can find some beautiful corals and a large variety of colourful fish. Snorkel and flippers can be rented for only 50 EGP for the snorkel and 50 EGP for the flippers. The food is tasty, though fairly basic, but something to every taste can be found, and for the price it's just an absolute bargain. The staff at Sharm el Naga is incredibly friendly and helpful. The only downfall was the fact we couldn't lock up back door, but the resort actually felt very safe. I would even go here as a solo woman!
