This home away from home was the highlight of our month spent in Egypt. We did not want to leave. Basaam and his family made us feel like part of their family. What an amazing place to stay...and the food is out of this world.

I loved everything about Wesy Ka, beautiful hosts who went out of their way to look after me. Clean and comfortable room, nice hot shower. I fit so much into my short time here with my host's help. Nothing was too much trouble. Delicious food, friendly and kind family. Highly recommend.

This hostel was my favourite in all Egypt. Beautiful location right on the nile with beautiful views. Ghandi is amazing he is super knowledgeable and helpful. Really the most genuine man we met in Egypt. Stayed 2 days longer because aswan and this place was amazing. Met amazing people. Breakfast was awesome. We stayed in a tent on the roof which was super ocol- amazing views for sunset. He helped order cheap food every night and had awesome recommendations for things to do. Helped with tours and was up at 4am to make sure everyone got off OK to Abu simbel. His son was super cute and had a good time watching him watch the world cup! Really a cool spot to come. Nubian village is cool. It is an easy walk or cheap minivan to down town but we were so glad we stayed in this chill spot away from it all. The free tea was also amazing and heaps of toilets which always spotless
