I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Abode Backpackers Hostel. Located in a quiet area, it is easy to reach Madikeri city centre and all of its restaurants, cafes, shops, and transport links. The hostel is well maintained and has the basic amenities needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The host Dev and manager Navin are incredibly down to earth and helpful. They provided me with guidance and advice on how to best spend my time in Coorg, and were always available if I needed anything. Pistachio, the dog also provides much entertainment. It's not a fancy or commercial hostel like some others in the area. But it is charming, and the people (Dev, Navin) made it a memorable stay.
